  7. BUG FIXES/UPDATES IN VERSION 1.1
  8.   Your feedback has been extremely valuable in uncovering bugs in LearnFlash
  9.   Version 1.0.  The following is a list of fixes in Version 1.1:
  10.     - Fixed 'Fatal Exception' error on main/answer screen cause by incorrect
  11.       memory management.
  12.     - Truncated long words on answer screen to show complete stats line.
  13.     - On 'Answer' screen, if 'show answers' option is selected, long definitions
  14.       would have the answer duplicated in following definitions.
  15.     - On 'Data Manager' screen, similar category names would be hidden.
  16.     - On 'Data Manager' screen, sometimes add term would not work.
  17.     - In the 'Sushi1B' database, 'yasai' was not sorted properly and was 
  18.       already included in 'Sushi1A'. Also, Kajiki, had incorrect phonetic.
  19.     - Fixed truncation of long definitions on 'Main' and 'Answer' screens.
  20.     - Added small application icon for list view.

  22. UPGRADING TO VERSION 1.1
  23.   If you have created your own custom word packs or added terms to the Personal
  24.   category, perform a 'HotSync' prior to upgrading. This will backup your
  25.   custom files in the 'c:\Palm\(palm_user_id)\Backup' directory with the name
  26.   '(your_LearnFlash_categoryname)-Flash.pdb.

  28.   Next, UNINSTALL LearnFlash and then INSTALL again as directed below.

  30. EXPLANATION OF DEMO VERSION:
  31.   This demo is fully usable with the following exceptions:
  32.     * You can only access the demo database (50 vocabulary words)
  33.     * You can only create new words in the personal database (50 custom words)
  34.  
  35.   After purchasing the registration code, you will be able to unlock this demo 
  36.   into the full version. Which allows access to the expansion word packs (1400 
  37.   words) and lets you create as many custom databases as you want.

  42.   When registering at LearnFlash, you will be asked to provide your 
  43.   serial code -- which can be found by pressing Register from the About menu.

  45.   Note: LearnFlash is released as shareware and must be registered for
  46.         continued use. The author assumes no responsibility for damages caused 
  47.         by this program. Make sure to back up (HotSync) your data before 
  48.         installation.

  50. INSTALLATION
  51.   1) Download the LearnFlash application to your computer through one of the
  52.      following zip archives:
  53.      - demo.zip which contains LearnFlash.prc (the application) and 
  54.        Demo-FlashDB.pdb (a demo database).
  55.      - learnflash.zip which contains LearnFlash.prc (the application) and all
  56.        other databases.
  57.      - make sure to note where the file is stored on your computer.
  58.  
  59.   2) Unzip the archive file you have downloaded.
  60.  
  61.   3) Make sure to read the readme.txt file included in the archive for latest
  62.      information.
  63.  
  64.   4) Install the Application and desired databases as follows:
  65.      - Double-click the LearnFlash.prc file. This will open the Install Tool
  66.        window. 
  67.      - Click the ADD button, navigate to your download directory and add 
  68.        Demo-FlashDB.pdb.
  69.      - You can also add additional .pdb files, however, only Demo-FlashDB.pdb
  70.        is accessible in the unregistered version.  If you are low on memory,
  71.        only install a few .pdb files to learn at first.  When you have mastered
  72.        the installed files, delete then through the 'Data Manager' and load
  73.        additional .pdb files.
  74.      - Click the DONE button. When you next HotSync, these files will now be
  75.        loaded into your Palm.

  77.   5) HotSync your Palm with your computer.

  79.   6) Turn on your Palm, scroll to the LearnFlash icon and tap it to launch 
  80.      LearnFlash.

  82. UNINSTALL
  83.   Navigate to the delete application (tap menu then delete on applications
  84.   screen) select LearnFlash and tap delete.

  86.   Warning: This will delete all custom word packs you have created from your 
  87.            Palm!
